Daphne Jochnick, M.Ac., L.Ac., Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM)

Daphne's practice emphasizes a person's whole health, including mental, emotional and spiritual health.

She has been practicing acupuncture since 1997, and offers private sessions in Classical Five Element style and Community Acupuncture in a traditional group setting, see links to the right.

Daphne has her master's degree from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute, Columbia MD (1997. She supervised at the Tai-Sophia student faculty clinic in Maryland, and helped to initiate and direct the N St. Village acupuncture addiction recovery program in Washington, DC. She led a volunteer group of acupuncturists to treat in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, and to Haiti after the January 2010 earthquake, with Acupuncturists Without Borders.

In 2008 she began practicing community acupuncture with the aim of making acupuncture affordable, using Dr Tan and Master Tung techniques. She worked at the Cape Cod Community Acupuncture Clinic in W.Dennis, directed Hyannis Community Acupuncture Clinic, and in May 2011 opened Open Space Community Acupuncture Clinic in Somerville, MA.

She currently offers private classical five element style sessions in Somerville and Hyannis, MA, and community style acupuncture in Somerville. She is a member of The Community Acupuncture Network,and the People's Organization of Community Acupuncture, see link to the right.
